The Backrooms are a modern legend of the 21st century. It tells the fictional story of monotonous interiors or landscapes that are randomly arranged and appear as endless mazes.

The YouTuber Kane Pixels produced the first video short stories about research teams from the 90s exploring the Backrooms in found footage style, as well as documenting accidents of teenagers who accidentally ended up in the Backrooms.

The Most Dangerous Water Park in the World (Poolrooms)

The Poolrooms are the most popular variation of the Backrooms. Instead of tight dark corridors, you'll find large bright halls that resemble swimming pools, complete with slides, diving boards, and currents.

In this video, a section of such an area was explored and opened for tourism. Since the air is likely toxic, entering is only allowed with a protective suit. Children are also seen in this video, although the water park may not be family-friendly.
